About Us

Your Leading Civil contractors and Earthmovers in the Mackenzie.

Based in Fairlie, High Country Earthworks couple modern, industry leading equipment with years of experience, saving our clients both time and money. Our wide range of specialist gear allows us to undertake a variety of jobs including residential/commercial site works, roading, sub divisions, landscaping and much more.

Our range of excavators are fitted with Tiltrotator hitches and can offer far more manoeuvrability than a conventional machine allowing us to use a bigger machine in places that would normally require a smaller machine. This improves productivity and digging power whilst creating less disturbance to the ground.

We also lead the way in grade control technology having 3D GPS Trimble Earthworks on our machines. This provides far more accuracy and efficiency.

Our high tech excavators coupled with our experienced team and fleet of modern trucks trailers rollers loaders grader and more means that every job we complete is finished to the very highest standards, quickly and cost effectively.

Ethan

Director

A qualified builder, Ethan has spent the last 6 years creating and running HCE. He still oversees every project and likes to get hands on, ensuring clients get the best results.

Glen

Residential and Landscaping Supervisor

Glen has been with HCE for 2 years, he keeps things moving on the residential side has a strong background in landscaping.

Simon

Civil & Roading Supervisor/Health & Saftey manager

Simon brings 16 years of civil roading experience to HCE having completed multiple large sub divisions, utility upgrades and NZTA roading projects. Simon also oversees and implements all HCE health and safety alongside Ethan.

Kev

Fleet Supervisor

Kev keeps the wheels turning on our plant. With 15 years being around trucks and equipment he is heavily involved in our civil roading projects on the ground and road.
